New data has suggested that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is Sony's second biggest launch on Steam in terms of peak concurrent players.
According to SteamDB, Insomniac Games’ web-slinger action game reached a peak concurrent player count of 66,436. This puts the game behind the PC version of God of War, which peaked at 73,529 players.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has performed better than other Sony releases on Steam. Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn reached a concurrent player count of 56,557, while Bend Studio’s Days Gone achieved 56,557 simultaneous players.
The popularity of these PC ports is a good sign that Sony would port more of its PlayStation exclusives. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is scheduled to launch on PC in fall 2022 as well as The Last Of Us Part 1 after its PS5 release in September.
