Square Enix officially announced that LIVE A LIVE will be launching on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam on April 28, 2023. The game was previously released for the Switch in 2022, it maintains a similar style to Octopath Traveller. Therefore, if you loved to take on another RPG this year, LIVE A LIVE would be the one for you.
LIVE A LIVE offers players the to explore eight different stories from eight different characters set in different periods from a pre-historic era to the Wild West. Each chapter will offer players different gameplay mechanics like stealth, suspense, and trap placement which centers around the turn-based battle system.
A free playable demo is available to download on the PlayStation Store and Steam. Players will be able to play the opening sections of three out of eight stories. Also, players can keep their progress upon purchase of the full game when it launches.
