Though the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is pricier than its previous model Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. In my opinion, the price hike is reasonably fine because the A54 5G is now geared with an Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) on the main camera which is rarely to be found on a mid-range smartphone, making it an easy score for anyone who looking to change their phone.
The OIS Main Camera is an essential upgrade to own, especially for someone who works during the day and only gets relieved from work at night, including the employed Gen Z like myself. This is because the OIS keeps your camera stable in low-light scenarios to allow more light intake to the sensor so your photos won't be blurry in low-light scenarios.

Rewarding Camera Features for Beginners
This is by far one of the camera features on the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G that I liked a lot, which is the Shot suggestions. As mentioned before in my review, the Shot suggestion will show screen guides to assist you to line up perfect shots. Not gonna lie, I've been relying entirely on the guides to take photos after discovering this "gem."
However, the Shot suggestions only appear in the normal photo mode and will not work for night modes and the others.

Game on the Go
For the gaming experience using the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, it's able to handle light mobile games such as Clash of Clans, Mobile Legends, and Honkai: Star Rail with Samsung's in-house chipset Exynos 1380.
Although the Exynos 1380 chipset is not built for intensive gaming, you can still use it to play most of the popular games listed on the Google PlayStore as most of them are not graphically demanding and to kill time while traveling from work to home.
One UI 5.1 Makes Everything Way Comfortable
In addition to the hardware, the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G's One UI 5.1 operating system is also outstanding! One of the amazing features will be the Modes and Routine, which allow me to setup up certain modes such as Sleep, Work, and Relax.
For instance, I can optimize my device when it's bedtime with the Sleep mode, starting from when the "Sleep" mode will be turned on under a certain time period or certain conditions, will it turn on do not disturb mode, and also restricting the app usage within that period.
Additionally, there are also advanced settings such as Grayscale, Dark mode, Eye comfort shield, Sound mode, and volume, and more settings that always come in handy during the night. As said, the Eye comfort shield will automatically turn on at late night to protect my eyesight when I decided to stay up a little longer to scavage the freedom I lost from work.
The other feature I would like to talk about is the Remaster picture in the gallery. This is a simple feature that helps to retouch the photo by making it looks more vibrant and sharp.
Here's where to find the Remaster picture:
Open Gallery and pick any photo you wanted to edit,
Tap on the ⋮ more options icon, and tap on the Remaster picture,
After a short while, you will be able to see the enhancement before and after by dragging the slides.

If you liked the results, you can save and replac the photo and the "Remastered" indicator will appear on the top right corner. However, if you're unsatisfied with the outcome you may also revert to the original photo and retouch it on your own~
