LG Electronics has launched the LG QP5 Eclair soundbar in North America and will be bringing it to other regions soon.
With dimensions of 296 x 59.9 x 126 mm, the 3.1.2-channel LG Eclair features an oval design dressed in a jersey fabric in black or white. It comes with a powerful wireless subwoofer which uses Meridian Horizon technology to up-mix stereo content into immersive surround sound through the multi-channel audio output of the soundbar.
The new model supports Dolby Vision through 4K pass-through and is equipped with LG’s AI Sound Pro that enables the soundbar to optimize sound settings based on the genre of the content played. The LG QP5 Eclair can maintain its sound quality even with fewer cables due to its eARC support that allows for the lossless transmission of 5.1-channel, 7.1-channel and immersive audio such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X on compatible TVs. 2021 LG TV users can connect the soundbar and their TVs via TV Sound Mode Share, which combines the processing power of LG’s latest α (Alpha) AI processors and AI Sound Pro for better audio quality.
