Custom PC and laptop brand Level51 has just unveiled their latest Forge series notebook lineup. While 2 of them are mere refreshes of previous models, the brand-new Forge 15 Red caught our eye.
The Forge 15 Red - or 'Forge 15R' - is Level51's first ever gaming and creator notebook powered by full-sized desktop 65W AMD processors. Featuring an AMD desktop motherboard and fully modular socket, the Forge 15R baseline model comes with a Ryzen 5 3500 CPU and can be hot-swapped to accommodate up to the Ryzen 9 3950X CPU, packing desktop-grade performance within a compact chassis.
Graphics-wise, users can choose between an RTX 2060 or RTX2070 Max Performance graphics card. Other features include a 15.6" 144Hz screen, up to 4TB of storage, up to 32GB of RAM, WiFi 6 connectivity, and the brand's new and updated per-key-RGB tactile silent keyboard.
Apart from the Forge 15R, Level51 has also released refreshed versions of their Forge 15 Slim (Forge 15S) and Forge 15X laptops. The 15S is now lighter than ever at only 1.86kg, while the 15X features Intel's new 10th gen processors and an RTX 2060 graphics card, offering even better value for money than before.
At the moment, Level51 is only taking pre-orders for the aforementioned models. Prices will vary depending on the custom specs that you choose.
