Lenovo, the global technology leader, today reinforced its vision of “Smarter AI for All” with an AI Education Media Roundtable in Malaysia. The session highlighted Lenovo’s commitment to making AI adoption simpler, scalable, and secure, and empowering organizations to modernize operations, optimize infrastructure, and accelerate transformation with confidence.
The discussion was led by Fan Ho, Executive Director & General Manager, Solutions & Services Group, Asia Pacific; Varinderjit Singh, General Manager, Lenovo Malaysia; and Debdut Maiti, Director, Solutions & Services Group, GTAP (Greater Asia Pacific), who shared Lenovo’s regional strategy and outlook for AI adoption across Asia Pacific.

Regional Momentum: Scaling Hybrid AI in Asia Pacific
Fan Ho emphasized that AI has become a defining driver of business outcomes across Asia Pacific. According to the latest Lenovo CIO Playbook, 83% of CIOs are already using or planning to use AI professional services, reflecting growing confidence in enterprise-grade AI solutions.
She added, “Hybrid AI defines this era. We see a future where Personal AI, Enterprise AI, and Public AI models seamlessly co-exist, enabling smarter, more meaningful outcomes for every organization.”
This approach builds on Lenovo’s recent Tech World announcement, where the company unveiled its Hybrid AI Advantage framework designed to help businesses deploy AI wherever data resides, from the cloud to the edge to on-premises environments.

Lenovo’s Full-Stack AI Portfolio: Infrastructure, Intelligence & Impact
Lenovo’s AI capability extends across every layer of the technology stack from infrastructure to software to services, ensuring customers can adopt AI in a way that’s right for their scale and maturity.
Infrastructure & Devices: AI-ready platforms such as ThinkSystem, ThinkAgile, ThinkEdge, and ThinkStation deliver scalable performance for training, inference, and edge analytics.
Solutions & Services: Offerings like TruScale, Digital Workplace Solutions (DWS), Device as a Service (DaaS), and Premier Support Plus help enterprises modernize with agility and control.
Software & Ecosystem Alliances: Lenovo partners with leading AI innovators to simplify integration and deployment, combining performance with trusted governance.
Security & Scalability: Built-in protection through Lenovo ThinkShield ensures data privacy and compliance across hybrid environments.
Together, this stack helps customers move from AI experimentation to real-world impact. A principle that defines Lenovo’s “Smarter AI for All” mission.

Malaysia at the Forefront of AI Adoption
Malaysia’s AI Nation Framework and supportive digital policies have positioned the country as a fast-emerging AI hub in Southeast Asia. The Malaysian government projects that AI could contribute over USD 115 billion (RM 530 billion) to the national economy by 2030, signaling strong momentum for local adoption.
Varinderjit Singh, General Manager of Lenovo Malaysia, noted:“We’re seeing both large enterprises and SMEs embrace AI. From analytics to hybrid cloud deployments. Lenovo’s role is to make this adoption seamless and secure, ensuring every organization can scale AI in ways that create value for their people and customers.”
He added that Lenovo’s AI-powered devices and solutions are designed to meet the needs of professionals, learners, and businesses alike enhancing productivity, personalization, and digital trust.

Future-Ready Enterprises Powered by Hybrid AI Advantage
Debdut Maiti highlighted how Lenovo’s Hybrid AI Advantage and innovations in agentic AI are transforming enterprise operations. “Our approach brings together AI infrastructure, data, models, services, and proven use cases, enabling organizations to activate AI across their workforce, operations, and data footprint,” he said.
He shared that Lenovo’s own internal transformation, known as “Lenovo powers Lenovo,” is a prime example. AI is used to streamline supply chain operations, enhance predictive maintenance, and optimize customer support workflows across 180 markets. In Formula 1, Lenovo’s AI infrastructure enables teams to analyze race telemetry in real time, delivering split-second insights that improve performance and efficiency. Similarly, logistics players such as ST Logistics in Singapore are leveraging Lenovo’s edge and hybrid AI solutions to digitize fleet management, track assets more precisely, and enhance operational visibility.
These examples reflect Lenovo’s commitment to ensuring AI delivers real-world outcomes not just theoretical potential. As Maiti noted, “Our goal is to make AI accessible, ethical, and impactful, thereby empowering every organization to scale intelligence across people, processes, and platforms.”
