Lenovo has announced several new Lenovo products, ranging from ThinkPads and Chromebooks to monitors and Lenovo Go accessories. The Malaysian-specific release dates and pricing for some of the products will be announced later.
ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4

The ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4 has up to 11th Gen Intel Core i9 H-Series vPro processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX Laptop GPUs (RTX 3050Ti, NVIDIA RTX 3060, RTX 3070, or RTX 3080), along with up to 64 GB DDR4 memory inside. It has a 16-inch display with resolution options topping at 4K.
Other features include dual SSD support, Intel Wi-Fi 6E, optional 5G Wireless WAN, an FHD or GHD Infrared webcam with physical camera shutter, dual noise-cancelling microphones, a power button with an integrated fingerprint reader, up to 10.7 hours of battery life, and a user-facing Dolby Atmos Speaker System that is said to be 20% bigger than the previous generation’s. For cooling, there is a hybrid cooling system with heat pipes and a large vapor chamber, keyboard air intake, and a dual bypass design. The device makes use of reinforced carbon fiber and weighs 1.81 kg.
It’s expected to be available in August 2021 at €2099 (~RM10,416).
ThinkPad L13 Gen 2 and L13 Yoga Gen 2
The 1.3.-inch ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 2 sports the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Mobile processors and up to 10.6 hours of battery life per day. An Integrated Pen to go with the touch-enabled display is available as an option. The ThinkPad L13 Gen 2 comes with the “same core components” as its Yoga cousin and offers up to 10.8 hours of battery life.
Both have AMD Radeon Graphics, PRO versions, Modern Standby, and built-in ThinkShield. Other features include Windows Hello facial recognition, a Match on Chip Fingerprint Reader, a physical webcam shutter, and AMD security features. They are available in either black or silver.
Both are expected to be available in August 2021 at €749 (~RM3,717) and €649 (~RM3,221) respectively.
ThinkVision M15 mobile monitor
The ThinkVision M15 offers a 15.6-inch FHD display with USB Type-C connectivity. It also has an ergonomic height stand, TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification, a weight of 860 grams, and comes with a protective sleeve. It is advertised as a companion for the X1 Extreme.
The monitor is expected to be available in Q3 2021 at €229 (~RM1,137)
ThinkVision T24m-20 display and MC50 webcam
The ThinkVision T24m-20 has a 23.8-inch FHD display and USB Type-C connectivity, along with the ThinkColor Lenovo Display Control Centre software. For the 1080p ThinkVision MC50 Monitor Webcam, it offers built-in dual noise cancelling microphones and a smart traffic light that shines red on top of the webcam during conference calls to inform others around the user. The webcam also has plug-and-play USB connection, a tilt and swivel function, a physical camera shutter, and an anti-theft attachment.
They are expected to be available in Q3 2021 at €299 (~RM1,484) and €99 (~RM491) respectively.
IdeaPad 5i Chromebook
The IdeaPad 5i Chromebook has a 14-inch IPS display with 300 nits brightness and up to an 11th gen Intel Core i5 processor. It also offers up to 512 GB of SSD storage, Sand and Storm Grey colour options, a user-facing stereo speaker system with built-in amplifier, and up to 10 hours of battery life. For ports, it has an audio jack and supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A and 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C.
Other features include a front LED light bar that changes colour to indicate remaining battery power, an optional backlit keyboard, a physical webcam shutter, and Intel Wi-Fi 6.
It will be available in June and cost €399 (~RM1,978).
IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook
The IdeaPad Flex 5i offers a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS LCD touchscreen with narrow bezels and 250 nits of brightness, as well as a 360-degree hinge and a weight of 1.35kg. It’s powered by up to an 11th gen Intel Core i5 processor and can have up to 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Other features include Abyss Blue and Iron Grey colour options, enhanced stereo speakers with a built-in amplifier certified by Waves MaxxAudio, Bluetooth 5.1, and up to 10 hours of battery life. A Lenovo Digital Pen and OLED panel are available as options.
It will be available in June and cost €399 (~RM1,978 ).
Lenovo L15 USB-C Mobile Monitor

The Lenovo L15 USB-C comes with a weight of 860 grams and a thickness of 6 mm. It offers a 15.6 Full HD display with anti-glare and low blue light technology, and uses a USB Type-C cable. The monitor can switch between landscape mode and portrait mode and use its adjustable foot as a kickstand. “Its foot can also match the height of an accompanying laptop and folds in for easy storage – just tilt up all the way to 90 degrees to find the most ergonomic viewing angle for you,” says Lenovo. A protective sleeve is included.
It will be available in September with a starting price of RM799.
Lenovo LC50 Modular Webcam
The Lenovo LC50 is a Full HD webcam with built-in tilt, dual noise cancelling mics, and 4x digital zoom. It also has a physical lens shutter, red LED indicator light to inform you if the camera or mic is on, and magnetically attaches to a monitor’s head.
It will be available in September at €99 (~RM491).
Lenovo L32p-30 monitor
The Lenovo L32p-30 offers a 31.5-inch 4K IPS display with HDR10 technology and 90 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. It also has integrated 3W speakers and supports HDMI 2.0, DP1.2, USB Type-C, and 4x USB 3.2.
It will be available in October with a starting price of RM1,599.
Lenovo L27m-30 monitor
The Lenovo L27m-30 has a 27-inch Full HD IPS display with a 75 Hz refresh rate and TÜV Rheinland EyeSafe certification. It has a 4 ms response time and an ergonomiz stand for lifting, tilting, pivoting, and swiveling.
It will be available in September at €299 (~RM1,483).
Lenovo Go accessories
Finally, Lenovo is introducing a bunch of new Lenovo Go accessories. On the input side, there are the Lenovo Go Wireless Multi-Device Mouse (€49/~RM243), Lenovo Go USB-C Wireless Mouse (€36/~RM179), Lenovo Go Wireless Vertical Mouse (€49/~RM243), Lenovo Go Wireless Split Keyboard (€89/~RM442), and Lenovo Go Wireless Numeric Keypad (€49/~RM243). The Lenovo Go Wireless Multi-Device Mouse and Lenovo Go USB-C Wireless Mouse are expected to be available in July, while the Lenovo Go Wireless Vertical Mouse is expected to be available in August. The keyboard and keypad are expected to be available in October.
On the audio side, the new accessories include the Lenovo Go Wired ANC Headset (€99/~RM491), the Lenovo Go Wireless ANC Headset (€159/~RM789), the Lenovo Go ANC In-ear Headphones (€79/~RM392), and the Lenovo Go Wired Speakerphone (€99/~RM491). The Lenovo Go Wired Speakerphone is expected to be available in October, while the rest are expected to be out in November.
Finally, there will also be the 20,000 mAh Lenovo Go USB-C Laptop Power Bank (€80/~RM397), the 10,000 mAh Lenovo Go Wireless Mobile Power Bank (€69/~RM342), and Lenovo Go Wireless Charging Kit (€139/~RM690). These are expected to be out in July 2021, January 2022, and October 2021 respectively.
