The HUAWEI nova 8i is currently available for pre-order till July 21 at RM1,299. Consumers will receive freebies worth up to RM 260 with every pre-order. The smartphone comes in three colour options: Moonlight Silver, Interstellar Blue, and Starry Black.
The HUAWEI nova 8i features a 1/1.7-inch sensor AI Quad Camera with four lenses: a 64 MP high-resolution camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth camera. The 8 MP ultra-wide angle camera offers a 120° shooting angle. The device features Super Night Shot 2.0 that supports night shots without sunlight. It is also equipped with a 16 MP SuperSelfie AI beauty camera for selfies and vlogs. It comes with a 4,300 mAh battery and a 66 W charger. A full charge only takes 38 minutes.
For its design, the device has a 94.7% screen-to-body ratio display with a 6.67-inch HUAWEI Edgeless Display. The screen display has TÜV Rheinland Technology certification and comes with 2nd Generation Hardware Enhanced Blue Light Protection to protect its user’s eyes.
In addition, the HUAWEI nova 8i also packs the Full-Scene Antenna 2.0 which comprises of 7 antennas located on each side of the smartphone for better signal strength in both portrait and landscape orientation. The Smart Game Assistant featured in the smartphone lets its user enable the “Do Not Disturb” mode while gaming or reply messages while gaming via a floating window.
The HUAWEI nova 8i comes with 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. The device runs on EMUI 11 that supports a multi-window interface, allowing its user to open multiple apps on the same screen.
