Intel Version of HUAWEI MateBook D14 2020 Coming to Malaysia Soon

Huawei has announced that the Intel Edition of its HUAWEI MateBook D14 2020 will launch soon in Malaysia. Unlike the 2021 edition, the laptop will pack 10th gen Intel processors instead of 11th gen models. The MateBook D14 2020 was previously available here, albeit AMD variants only.

The 14-inch laptop weighs 1.38kg and has a thickness of 15.9mm. It has a TÜV Rheinland certified 1080p display and is powered by an i5-10210U with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 dedicated graphics. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD.

The MateBook D14 2020 features a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner, with the scanner also having a separate security chipset. Additionally, it has a recessed camera. The battery can provide 13 hours of regular use in a single charge and can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes with fast-charging. The laptop uses a USB-C charger.

Another feature is Huawei’s Multi-screen collaboration, which allows the laptop to share files with Huawei smartphones and vice versa. It also allows users to control smartphone apps and perform tasks like replying texts via the laptop.

The MateBook D14 2020 will have an RRP of RM3,399 and come in Space Grey and Mystic Silver when it releases on 26 February. A free gift worth up to RM249 will be included with the purchase.
