In a remarkable display of strategy and resilience, Indonesia’s EVOS Esports claimed the championship title at the Free Fire 2025 Esports World Cup Grand Final on July 20 by being the first to secure a Booyah! after surpassing the 80-point Champion Rush threshold.
The win not only marks their redemption after finishing second last year but also earns them a coveted spot in the upcoming Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals, where 18 of the world's best teams will compete.
Reflecting on the victory, team member Aji Apri “AimGOD” Wicaksono shared his joy and appreciation, noting how the team bounced back from a disappointing performance in the Southeast Asia Spring tournament through revised strategies and unwavering determination.

An Evening of Thrills and Triumphs
The Free Fire 2025 Esports World Cup Grand Final on July 20 delivered intense action, with EVOS Esports making an early statement by securing a Booyah! in Round 3, outpacing strong teams like defending champions Team Falcons from Thailand.

However, EVOS soon lost momentum as rivals such as Indonesia’s Team Vitality and Brazil’s LOS gained ground with two Booyahs! each. The tide turned in Round 10 when 16-year-old EVOS sniper Rasyah made a game-changing play, helping the team clinch the final Booyah! of the night. Rasyah was named Final MVP, becoming one of the youngest players in the tournament's history to earn the title, and marking his debut on the world championship stage.
