If you're looking for a new headset, HyperX has just dropped two new models for your consideration. The HyperX Cloud Stinger Core and HyperX Stinger Core Wireless headsets are priced affordably and feature virtual 7.1 surround sound, which is usually reserved for more upmarket headsets.
Both models feature 40mm drivers packed into a 245g package, with built-in microphones that swivel up and down to activate or mute. Steel sliders enable adjustments to accommodate heads of most sizes, while the earcups house the volume controls.
On the wired model, you'll get a generous 8-foot-long cable with a 3.5mm connector. The wireless model connects to your PC via a 2.4GHz USB adapter instead. According to HyperX, you'll get up to 17 hours of battery life on a single charge for the latter, along with an admirable wireless reception range of 65 feet.
Both the Cloud Stinger Core and Stinger Core Wireless are available on the HyperX online store, priced at US$60 (~RM264) and US$80 (RM351) respectively. No word on local pricing and availability yet, however.
