HUAWEI Launches MatePad 11 and MateBook Variants; Available for Pre-order Now


Today, HUAWEI launched its first tablet with a 120 Hz refresh rate - the MatePad 11 - in Malaysia at a retail price of RM1,999. The HUAWEI MatePad 11 is available for pre-order from today until 6 August on HUAWEI Store Online, the Lazada HUAWEI Flagship Store, the Shopee HUAWEI Official Store, and HUAWEI Experience Store. Consumers who purchase the tablet during the pre-order period will receive free gifts worth up to RM1,207, including the HUAWEI 2nd Gen M-Pencil, HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard, 1-month access to 50 GB of HUAWEI Cloud storage, 1-month VIP access to HUAWEI Video, a 3-month subscription to HUAWEI Music, and a USD$1 (~RM4) HUAWEI Books Voucher.

To pair with the HUAWEI MatePad 11, HUAWEI has also launched new variants of the MateBook Series: the HUAWEI MateBook D15 with the 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor priced at RM2,999, its counterpart powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor at RM3,699, as well as the HUAWEI D14 and HUAWEI MateBook 14 priced at RM2,699 and RM3,999 respectively. Consumers will also receive freebies for each purchase from the MateBook Series.


The HUAWEI MatePad 11 is targeted for both working professionals and gamers with its high frame rate and impressive display refresh rate. Given its TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free certifications, the tablet will not harm user's eyes as much even after long hours of working or gaming. For working professionals, especially those in the creative industry, HUAWEI offers its 2nd Gen M-Pencil to provide users a natural writing and drawing experience on the tablet.


The new HUAWEI MateBooks are equipped with an upgraded Tablet-PC Collaboration feature which allows users to link up the tablet and laptop to work simultaneously back and forth between the two devices. Additionally, HUAWEI also introduced a brand new Multi-Window feature which supports the display of up to four apps or two floating windows at the same time for a better cross-app multitasking experience.
