HUAWEI Has Launched Two More Tablets You Cannot Live Without

...the title being a play on their marketing tagline only, of course - I'm not sure who needs more than 1 tablet after all.

Anyway, if the MatePad Pro launched earlier this year didn't hit the spot for you, you now have 2 more variants to choose from. Along with yesterday's launch of the MateBook X Pro and Sound X, HUAWEI has also unveiled the MatePad and MatePad T, which are significantly more affordable than the Pro version, but still packs lots of features you'll appreciate.

HUAWEI MatePad

The MatePad is a mid-range tablet targeted towards more casual, mainstream users. In terms of power, it's packing a Kirin 810 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, as well as a generous 7,250mAh battery that should last you all day. The 10.4" display isn't too shabby either, with HUAWEI's signature FullView experience and a crisp max resolution of 2000x1200.

For those who appreciate good audio, the MatePad features four high amplitude speakers tuned by Harman Kardon and supports Histen 6.0 to drive 3D stereo sound effects. Video calls are supported by an 8MP wide-angle front camera and a quad-microphone array that picks up sound within 5 metres while reducing noise, so your MEETime sessions will always be clear and crisp.

Of course, it also supports the Smart Magnetic Keyboard and M-Pencil.

HUAWEI MatePad T

Now, for the MatePad T. This entry-level model is great for basic users, especially children. Inside, you'll find a MediaTek MT8768 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, as well as a modest 5,100mAh battery. The 8" display is great for smaller hands as well portability, and features a 1280x800 resolution. It also weighs a mere 310g.

Kids Corner is a feature that makes the MatePad T the ideal learning companion for children - it is a dedicated space with parental controls for children to learn and have fun in a safe environment. This means parents can restrict the types of apps children have access to, as well as control the hours spent on the device. It also provides eye protection modes, posture alerts, eBook mode, and more.

The HUAWEI MatePad comes in Midnight Grey and retails for RM1,399, while the HUAWEI MatePad T comes in Deepsea Blue and retails for just RM559.

Both models are arriving 16 May on the official HUAWEI online store, along with free gifts worth up to RM756 while stocks last, so grab 'em quick!
