HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 is now available for pre-order in Malaysia at RM599. Consumers will receive a free HUAWEI Band 4 worth up to RM139 when they pre-order from now until July 21 on HUAWEI Store Online, Lazada HUAWEI Flagship Store, Shopee HUAWEI Official Store, and Senheng.
The 4.1 g device comes with a frequency range up to 40 kHz, four times wider than other earphones. For great bass, it has an upgraded bass enhancement engine and a 14.33 mm dynamic driver. The earphones also support 32 kHz high quality voice calls and 48 kHz wireless recording, which can be done by tuning on the Surroundings Mode in the HUAWEI AI Life app.
HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 features the first open-fit Active Noise Cancellation 2.0 technology as well as Adaptive Ear Matching technology, which enables it to detect users’ ear shapes and determine the optimum noise cancellation for each different user. To top that, its dual microphone generates anti-noise waves that block strong wind noises allowing for better noise cancellation.
In addition, the earphones offer dual-device connection for interchanging connectivity between two devices simultaneously. It supports any smart device including Android, iOS, and Windows. The Audio Connection Centre in the HUAWEI AI Life app allows users to see their ten most recent connected devices and switch to any device with just a tap. Users can also control the volume of the earbuds by touching either side of the device and answer incoming calls by tapping twice. While these controls are the default settings, users can reprogram them to their liking in the AI Life app.
It has a battery life of 22 hours with the casing and 4 hours of continuous playback without ANC. With a quick 15-minute charge, the device can be used for 2.5 hours. The earbuds have a latency as low as 90 ms for devices with Harmony OS 2 to maintain optimal audio-visual synchronisation.
The HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 is available in Ceramic White and Silver Frost colour options with a retail price of RM599.
