This award recognizes HONOR’s breakthrough in battery technology, which overcomes the density limits of traditional lithium-ion, allowing for slimmer foldable devices with extended life. TIME lauded the technical breakthrough, stating, “HONOR’s new battery design allows them to compact materials while extending battery life.” HONOR’s latest Silicon-carbon Battery, featuring 25% silicon at just 2.3mm thick and boasting 6,100mAh of power, recently debuted in the HONOR Magic V5.
