HONOR Provides UKM Students with HONOR MagicBook Laptops to Facilitate E-Learning

In a gesture of goodwill, global smartphone brand HONOR has pooled its resources to supply HONOR MagicBook laptops to underprivileged students who lack technological access for e-learning.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, education has been increasingly moved online, leaving the B40 community in a tough spot financially due to the new need for gadgets required for distance learning.

“In what is already a difficult situation for faculty and students, HONOR is pleased to be able to assist with the learning experience from home. Launched in April, the HONOR MagicBook is the brand’s first notebook in Malaysia, and we are proud to be able to provide access to latest technology and connectivity for students in need as part of our vision to create an intelligent lifestyle for the world."

The initiative will allow selected students to loan the HONOR MagicBook indefinitely until their campus reopens, allowing them to stay connected digitally and keep up with their learning progress.

The HONOR MagicBook's lightweight chassis packs a Ryzen 5 3500U mobile processor and Radeon Vega 8 Graphics. Additionally, the 57.4Wh battery supports fast charging to ensure that students will not run out of power throughout the day.
