Last night at MWC 2022, HONOR unveiled its latest Magic4 series, which consists of the HONOR Magic4 and HONOR Magic4 Pro. HONOR also announced the new HONOR Watch GS 3 and HONOR Earbuds 3 Pro alongside the Magic4 series.
The Magic4 series is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset along with 8GB
RAM and 256GB storage, which HONOR claims to offer 20% improved CPU performance, 30% better GPU performance, and a whopping 300% enhanced AI capabilities. It is backed by HONOR OS Turbo X and GPU Turbo X.
The Magic4 Pro features HONOR’s iconic “Eye of Muse” symmetrical design on the back and a 6.81-inch LTPO Quad-Curved display on the front with ultra-thin bezels. It supports 1.07 billion colors, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and HDR 10+. The screen has a smart refresh rate that can adjust from 1Hz - 120Hz based on the content played. It also has IP68 dust and water resistance, allowing it to immerse in water up to 1.5m deep for 30 minutes.
For photography, the smartphone sports a triple rear camera unit, which includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, as well as a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with a 3.5x optical zoom and a 100x digital zoom. Other photography features included in the Magic4 series are Magic-Log Movie Master and AI Film Effects
Its 4600mAh battery supports 100W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 100W wireless HONOR SuperCharge technology. The wired charging unit can fully top up the device in just 30 minutes while the wireless charging unit can charge 50% in 15 minutes. The series boots HONOR Magic UI 6.0 based on Android 12.
The HONOR Magic4 series will come in 4 color variants - Black, White, Cyan, and Gold. It will be available starting from Q2 2022. The Magic4 will start from €899 (~RM4,221) while the Magic4 Pro will start from €1099 (~RM5,161) for the 8+256GB configuration.
HONOR Watch GS 3 and HONOR Earbuds 3 Pro
The HONOR Watch GS 3 features 316L stainless steel with an elegant design. Weighing just 44g, it comes with a new eight-channel PPG (Photoplethysmography) sensor module that can detect precise optical signals. It uses an AI Heart Rate Monitoring Engine, which significantly improves the accuracy of the heart rate monitoring function.
It supports over 100 workout modes and has a built-in L1/L5 Dual Frequency GNSS
(Global Navigation Satellite System). The Watch GS 3 will be available in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Classic Gold, starting from €229 (~RM1,404).
The HONOR Earbuds 3 Pro TWS earbuds are equipped with an 11mm diameter dynamic driver and a high-resolution piezoelectric ceramic tweeter for rich sound details and bass. It also features Adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (Adaptive ANC) technology. The Earbuds 3 Pro will start from €199 (~RM934).
