Honor has launched the budget-priced Honor 9S smartphone in Malaysia.
The phone comes with a 5.45-inch FullView Display with a 1440x720p resolution, with an Eye Comfort Certification from TÜV Rheinland due to lower blue light emission. It also has a new Dark Mode courtesy of the Android-based Magic UI 3.1 it comes with.
Inside, the phone has got a 3020 mAh battery, 32 GB of storage which can be expanded to 512 GB, and two independent SIM card slots in addition to the microSD slot. The back of the phone has an 8 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, while the front has a 5 MP camera with an enhanced version of Beauty Mode.
The Honor 9S will be available in Black, Blue, and Red with a frosted matte finish. It will be available from 28 September at RM359. A promotion will see buyers receive a free Honor Thermo Flask and 15 GB Huawei Cloud Storage, along with a 10% voucher for Tien Tien Yogurt beverages that’s useable from 1 October to 31 December, which solves the mystery of the collab we were teased with earlier. On top of that, all HONOR users can also flash their HONOR smartphone to receive 10% off Tien Tien Yogurt beverages as well.
