Honor Announces MagicBook Pro and Watch GS Pro

Honor has announced the Honor MagicBook Pro and Honor Watch GS Pro for Malaysia. Both devices will be available from 8 October.

The 1.7kg and 16.9mm thin MagicBook Pro has a 16.1-inch FullView Display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits of brightness, 100% sRGB coverage, and TÜV Rheinland certification. It’s armed with an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor with integrated Radeon graphics, 16GB of DDR4 dual channel RAM, and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD.


Huawei says that the laptop’s 56Wh battery can last for up to 11 hours when fully charged, and that its 65W fast charger can charge it up to 50% within half an hour. Its cooling system has dual fans and dual heat pipes, which apparently allows the device produce 20% more airflow than other “traditional” cooling fans. The laptop also has the Multi-screen Collaboration technology that allows Honor smartphone screens to be projected onto its display. The MagicBook Pro wil be available in the Space Gray colour.

IAs for the “rugged” Watch GS Pro, it comes with a Kirin A1 Chipset for smart power management. Honor says that it’s “one of the longest-lasting smartwatches currently available in the wearables market”. The device has a 25-day battery life typically, a 48-hour battery life in outdoor GPS performance mode, and a 100-hour battery life in outdoor GPS power-saving mode. It takes less than two hours for the watch to be fully-charged.


For its other features, the Watch GS Pro has 100 workout modes, outdoor functions like skiing mode, celestial data, and bad weather alerts, provides GPS route back, and has passed 14 MIL-STD-810G tests. It will be available in Charcoal Black.


The MagicBook Pro will cost RM3,599 while the Watch GS Pro will cost RM999.
