The HONOR 50 has recently launched in the Malaysian market, starting from RM1,699.
The new smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset and GPU Turbo X, which has an increase of CPU and GPU performance by 45%, according to HONOR. It boasts a 6.57" 75° curved Full HD+ OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 300 Hz touch sampling rate. The screen also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
For photography and vlogging, it has a 32 MP selfie camera. On the back, it houses a quad camera setup comprising a 108 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth camera. The rear camera module adopts a dual ring camera design made up of two concentric circles, which resemble a pair of eyes.
Underneath the hood is a 4300 mAh battery that supports 66 W HONOR wires SuperCharge. It is able to juice up from zero to 70% in just 20 minutes. The HONOR 50 is available in four colour variants: Frost Crystal, Emerald Green, Midnight Black, and limited-edition HONOR Code.
The 6/128 GB variant is priced at RM 1,699 while the 8/256 GB is priced at RM1,999. Fans who pre-order the former will receive rewards worth RM250 whereas fans who pre-order the latter will get rewards worth RM500.
