At the end of Honkai Star Rail's Version 2.3 "Farewell, Penacony" Special Program, it was revealed that Players will be returning to the Xianzhou Luofu in order to celebrate the world's important event, The Xianzhou Wardance where fighters from all over the world and of different factions will compete for supremacy in the Luminary Combat Arts Ceremony!
With this announcement, Honkai Star Rail also revealed the silhouettes and names of several upcoming characters for players to look forward to.
Also, prior to the Special Program, Honkai Star Rail revealed the release of two upcoming characters: Yunli - a 5-Star who is a Physical Character and following the Destruction Path as well as Jiaoqiu - another 5-Star Character who is a Fire Character following the Path of Nihility.
And as it's been longer than a month since that Special Program for Version 2.3, and with the Special Program for Version 2.4 coming closer (set to be premiered from July 19th), Honkai Star Rail has officially released the splash art and details for all but one of the characters featured in the end of Version 2.3's Special Program.
Here are the released characters that Honkai Star Rail has released as of now:
Feixiao - Extraterrestrial Satellite Communication
Feixiao is said to be a new 5-Star Character with the Wind Element and following the Path of the Hunt.
Below is the game's details for the character:
"The Xianzhou Yaoqing's Merlin's Claw and one of the Seven Arbiter-Generals. Her personality is unrestrained and frank, dashing and straightforward. She is skilled in all forms of martial arts and has honed herself into a supreme weapon. She is widely adored by Xianzhou soldiers and civilians alike as "The Great General." However, she bears the burden of the Moon Rage affliction. If she were to hunt down all the abominations in her limited lifetime — Then the only enemy Feixiao has would be herself."
Lingsha - Extraterrestrial Satellite Communication
Lingsha is said to be a Five-Star character with the Fire Element and following the path of Abundance.
Below is the game's details for the character:
"The new Cauldron Master of the Xianzhou Luofu's Alchemy Commission. An intelligent and quick-witted Vidyadhara healer. She has a sharp sense of smell and often uses this to diagnose illnesses, as well as utilizing incense to calm the minds of others. She is adept at dealing with complicated social relationships. Though she might be fuming inside, her expression would remain calm and serene."
Moze - Extraterrestrial Satellite Communication
Moze is said to be 4-Star with the Lightning Element and following the path of the Hunt.
Below is the game's details for the character:
"A Shadow Guard of the Yaoqing. He is reticent and silent, always acting on his own. As an expert in intelligence services and other affairs that must remain obscure, Moze rarely shows himself before others. The moment he shows his true capacities is usually the moment for his enemies to face death. He has a wealth of knowledge regarding methods of assassination and seems to have an extraordinary obsession with tidiness and cleanliness."
Legendary New Swordsmaster(?)
The final character that was showcased in the ending featured a mysterious Legendary New Swordsmaster, and while everyone was speculating the identity of this silhouette, the game eventually revealed it at the SGF (Summer Game Fest) Show Video.
There it was revealed that the mysterious character was none other than March 7th, sporting a new outfit to commemorate the Wardance event, and she also sports a new Element as well as a new Path.
March 7th will be a Four-Star Character and will have the Imaginary Element and she is also on the Path of the Hunt.
The final character that has yet to be unveiled (likely to be announced tomorrow) is Huaiyan. While his character details nor appearance has been revealed yet, he is likely to be a Fire Character as per his name the "Flaming Heart". Huaiyan will be the final character that Honkai Star Rail releases from their Version 2.3 Special Program before the release of Version 2.4's Special Program.
With the Special Program set to premiere on Honkai Star Rail's official YouTube and Twitch account, more information about the event and the characters will be released then. For the time being, players can only wonder and start collecting Stellar Jades to prepare for the release for these upcoming characters!
