miHoYo has just dropped a surprise announcement that seemingly evaded even the most prolific leakers - Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn will be coming to Genshin Impact as a playable character very soon.
The protagonist from the Nora Tribe is a 5-star Cryo Archer who comes with a 4-star signature weapon - Predator - that gives her a special buff. In a surprising turn of events, PlayStation users (who have often been left out of events) will be able to redeem Aloy first in Version 2.1, whereas players from all other platforms will only be able to redeem her in Version 2.2. All you have to do is log into Genshin Impact via PS4 or PS5 at least once, and you will be able to claim her from your in-game mailbox.
Although it appears to be a timed exclusive, thanks to the cross-save feature, Aloy can in fact be used on all platforms as early as Version 2.1 - as long as you manage to log into Genshin Impact on PlayStation at least once for the initial redemption (ask a PS-owning friend to help you out!)
If you have no way to access a PlayStation, then you'll have to wait until Version 2.2, where you can then log in through any platform and receive her via the in-game mailbox as well.
On the other hand, the Predator bow is a PlayStation exclusive which can be redeemed any time throughout Versions 2.1 and 2.2. Do note that players have to be Adventure Rank 20 and above to be eligible for either redemption.
