The HarmonyOS 3.0 was first announced in October last year and it will finally receive a rollout in September this year.
A Weibo user reported that a recent developer innovation contest revealed the stable version of the HarmonyOS 3.0 is scheduled to be released in September this year. A beta version is expected to be kicked off in May but HUAWEI has yet to confirm it.
While the new version will revamp the UI and improve performance, there won't be major changes. The HUAWEI Mate 50 series which will launch in July could be the first devices to feature HarmonyOS 3.0.
