Halo Infinite Multiplayer Season 2 is Called Lone Wolves, to Launch on 3 May

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Season 2, Lone Wolves will launch on 3 May, Head of Creative Joseph Staten announced on Halo Waypoint. He shared the inspiration behind the new season, "Lone Wolf Spartans are hunters. Trackers. They’re resourceful improvisers, operating deep in enemy territory without resupply or support. They’re fierce, rugged, and prefer to work alone—but they’re still loyal to the Spartan pack."

Spartan Sigrid Eklund and Spartan Hieu Dinh

Staten gave us a first look at two Lone Wolves: Spartan Sigrid Eklund and Spartan Hieu Dinh. When Season 2 arrives, players will learn more about these two as well as Spartan Commander Laurette Agryna with "a mix of cinematics, story-themed events, Battle Pass items and more that embody the Lone Wolves theme."

Players can also look forward to playlist updates, balance changes, new modes, and maps in the new season, including an Arena map called Catalyst, a BTB map called Breaker, a free-for-all elimination mode called Last Spartan Standing, another new mode called Land Grab, and the return of King of the Hill.

In addition, Season 2 will introduce us to a Fracture core that's similar to Season 1's Tenrai armor core, giving players a unique take on the Spartan look.
