Halo Infinite Multiplayer Gameplay Videos Released

Halo Infinite’s first technical preview is now live, but for those who didn’t get a chance to participate, you can still check out the upcoming game’s free-to-play multiplayer component thanks to some recently released gameplay videos via IGN.

Some of the features shown off include the new player outlines (as opposed to blue and red armour for team recognition), new weapons like the Heatwave, and, of course, new maps. One of the videos also reveals that power-ups can be held on to instead of activating automatically upon pick-up. On the flip side, there will be a visual cue to inform enemies that a player is in possession of an unused pickup.

The two gameplay videos are taken from the over hour-long Technical Preview stream, which also goes into aspects like armour customization and the Academy’s weapon drills. The stream notes that the technical preview only contains a slice of the game’s full weapon sandbox.

Halo Infinite will release sometime in 2021.
