HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact Version “Luna II” (“Song of the Welkin Moon: Reprise — An Elegy for Faded Moonlight”) will launch on October 22. The update introduces the long-awaited UGC system, Miliastra Wonderland, featuring hundreds of creative, player-made stages. It also marks the return of Varka and Arlecchino in the battles of Nod-Krai, while debuting Nefer as a new playable character who wields powerful Lunar-Bloom abilities.

The brand new Miliastra Wonderland system has officially launched. The premier will offer hundreds of diverse Stages for players to explore. Players who have completed Act I of the Archon Quest Prologue, "The Outlander Who Caught the Wind," can explore this magical world freely and immerse themselves in a wide range of gameplay experiences, including sims management, party games, PvP battles, adventure challenges, and more. They can meet new friends or reconnect with other players to enjoy both the thrill of teamwork and competition, or choose to play solo and savor the satisfaction of solving intricate puzzles. Many Stages also feature achievements, ranking systems, and leaderboards, inspiring players to sharpen their skills and pursue new winning strategies.

In Genshin Impact Version “Luna II,” players can customize their Manekins—avatars that represent them across the Miliastra Wonderland and Teyvat—with a wide range of hairstyles, facial features, accessories, and outfits. Players can mix and match outfit components or choose preset styles, earning additional rewards such as outfit trial vouchers and sets through Wonderland events.

The new Miliastra Sandbox empowers players to become Craftspeople, creating custom Stages with flexible terrain, items, and game logic using Genshin’s extensive library of assets, supported by tutorials, forums, and incentive programs. Beyond the UGC system, the update continues the Archon Quest storyline, as players face the powerful Rerir alongside returning characters like Varka, Arlecchino, and Sandrone, with Nefer offering crucial insights. Completing the quest rewards players with 560 Primogems.

Nefer joins Genshin Impact as a 5-star Dendro catalyst user who introduces a new Lunar-Bloom combat style. By absorbing Verdant Dew with her Elemental Skill, she can unleash enhanced Charged Attacks that deal Lunar-Bloom damage without consuming Stamina. In the Ascendant Gleam state, she converts Dendro Cores into Seeds of Deceit to amplify her attacks further. As head of the Curatorium of Secrets, Nefer can also gather intel to unlock unique side stories through the Adventurers’ Guild.

In the first half of Version "Luna II," Event Wishes feature Nefer alongside the rerun of Furina, while the second half brings back both Arlecchino and Zhongli.

Genshin Impact’s latest update, Version “Luna II,” brings new events and activities packed with rewards. Players can help The Damselette with Commissions to earn bonuses like the Ascendant Gleam state and exclusive namecards, or uncover secrets in Sumeru’s Seasonal Event to gain Primogems and recruit Collei for free. Launching October 22, “Luna II” introduces the Miliastra Wonderland and supports cross-progression and Co-Op play across PlayStation®, Xbox, PC, Android, and iOS.
