In celebration of the first anniversary of the Dragonspine map expansion, Genshin Impact has collaborated with Europe’s highest ski resort Val Thorens for Genshin-themed decorations as well as a series of web events and a grand Alps Waypoint Lighting Ceremony broadcast online in mid-January.
Visitors of the Val Thorens ski resort in the Alps can now enjoy skiing experiences and breathtaking sceneries as if they are exploring a real-life Dragonspine. Online, players can join the "Enchanting Journey of Snow and Stars" web event and help light up a special Teleport Waypoint in the Alps to unlock rewards as well as a customised photo card featuring the snowy peak and their favorite character.
Players who make their wishes in the event will stand a chance to send them on the Tree of Wishes atop the Alps. When the number of participants hit 1 million, a special Alps Waypoint Lighting Ceremony will be broadcast live in mid-January on Twitch, YouTube, and VK.
