Since the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 landed recently, it’s not surprising that there aren’t any major releases out this week. That doesn’t mean that it’s a barren week for releases however, and you can expect to see the following titles.
MXGP 2020
The follow-up to MXGP 2019, MXGP 2020 will once again let video gamers experience the Motocross Championship. Featuring MXGP and MX2 categories, the game will offer bike and rider customization, online modes with dedicated servers, a Waypoint mode where you place checkpoints to make your own route, and Norwegian fjord-inspired training area. The game will be released on December 16 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, with a PS5 release in January 14.
Deemo Reborn
A 3D remake of music rhythm game Deemo, Deemo Reborn tells the story of a girl who falls from the sky and encounters the piano-playing Deemo. The only way for the girl to escape the castle she’s now in is via a tree that grows when it hears music, thus beginning an adventure with puzzles and rhythm segments. Previously released for PS4 and PC, Deemo Reborn will now be released on Switch on December 17.
Abyss of the Sacrifice
Originally released back in 2010 as a Japan-only PSP game, Abyss of the Sacrifice is now heading over to other platforms and countries. The visual novel and “suspenseful adventure escape game” follows five girls who meet in an underground city and have to escape. “The stages develop along with each character. The same stage can have different puzzles and endings depending on the path you've chosen--changes that may mean the difference between life and death for the young girls!” explains the description. The game will be released on December 17 for PC and Switch.
