This week, the fifth installment of the Forza Horizon series makes its debut. Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas are making their return with remastered versions. Also, Star Wars KOTOR is finally coming to Nintendo Switch.
Forza Horizon 5
Set in an open-world environment based on a fictional representation of Mexico, Forza Horizon 5 has the largest map in the entire Forza Horizon series. It is the first in the franchise to support ray tracing on cars albeit only available for ForzaVista. It also comes with new seasonal weather effects like tropical storms and dust storms.
There will also be a new Horizon Arcade consisting of a series of mini-multiplayer games. Other new features include the EventLab, which allows players customise games, races, and more, as well as Forza Link, an AI assistant that tracks players' current status.
Forza Horizon 5 will launch on Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on 9 November.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition
The Definitive Edition compiles remastered versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Fans can expect to see enhancements like a rebuilt lighting system, upgraded vehicle and character models, new navigation and heads-up display designs, and more. The Switch version will also include gyro aiming and touchscreen support.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition will be released on Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5 on 11 November.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
"Four thousand years before the Galactic Empire, hundreds of Jedi Knights have fallen in battle against the ruthless Sith and you are the last hope of the Jedi Order. Can you master the awesome power of the Force and save the Republic? Or will you fall to the lure of the dark side?" the game description reads.
Players can expect re-appearances from Darth Revan, Malak, Jolee Bindo, Bastilla Shan, Zaalbar, Carth Onasi, Juhani, and Mission Vao in the Switch version.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic will make its Switch debut on 11 November.
