Free Fire-Street Fighter V crossover, “Free Fighter” is live globally today, bringing fan favourites Chun-Li and Ryu into the battle. The event also features Ryu’s legendary archetypal move, “the Hadouken”, along with exclusive time-limited content including a special event interface, item reskins, and more.
Learn How to Hadouken
Ryu’s signature move is performed by thrusting his palms forward, sending a surge of spirit energy towards his opponent. Survivors will be able to perform the fighting move as an emote during this event.
Battle in style with Chun-Li and Ryu
During the event, survivors will be able to battle in Street Fighter V-themed outfits, including Chun-Li’s iconic ensemble, featuring her blue qipao and deadly spiked bracelets, as well as a Gloo Wall skin inspired by her character. Both will be available from July 9. Survivors can also expect to add Ryu’s outfit into their wardrobe soon.
The crossover event also presents exclusive equipment for Survivors including the Hadouken grenade, the AVM gun skin, and more.
Street Fighter V Takeover
The event also completely transforms the main lobby to the Air Force Base background from Street Fighter.

Stand A Chance to Win A Copy of Street Fighter V
In its efforts to bring localised content to players, Garena will hold an exclusive local live stream - Free Fighter Face-off. The ‘battle’ will feature Malaysian and Filipino influencers fighting for the strongest “Free Fighter” title. The livestream is scheduled to be held on July 9 at 10 pm.
Fans can look forward to the participants, divided into Team Chun-Li and Team Ryu, clear collaboration specific challenges such as the Hadouken-only match, in a series of one-on-one battles. Viewers will also be able to play with the influencers in a custom room match open to all during the stream. Players who clear certain achievements during the match will stand a chance to win a copy of Street Fighter V on Steam.
