Disney has confirmed that it will rerelease Gargoyles by remastering another classic as part of their Disney Classic Games Collection.
The game Gargoyles Remastered is exactly what it claims it is, a remake of the classic platformer that was released in 1995 for the Sega Genesis. There isn't officially a release date for Gargoyles Remastered, that will have enhanced graphics and controls for consoles and PC platforms.

If you're unfamiliar with Gargoyles, it's based on the Disney animated series of the same name, which aired in the 1990s and followed a group of gargoyles in then-modern-day New York City who protect it from various supernatural villains.
This is a fantastic chance for Gargoyles fans to play a classic game again as it will not be released in 2022 otherwise. Additionally, it's a chance for fans to inform Disney of the continued popularity of Gargoyles. While efforts to relaunch Gargoyles have had difficulty finding success, a successful remade video game and comic may be very helpful.
