Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has recently announced that its Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions of the game as well as free DLC had been delayed to 2022. The company released an updated roadmap, revealing the next-gen updates for both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt scheduled for the first half of 2022.

The game has had a troubled launch last year and it still has a warning on its Playstation Store page regarding how poorly it runs. The company has since then rolled out patches and updates to fix bugs.

The last major update, Patch 1.3 was released in August with major fixes for the game's balance, missions, performance, and AI. Also included was the first batch of free DLC, complete with a new costume for Johnny Silverhand, some jackets for V, and a new vehicle.
