Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season One Roadmap Revealed

A general content roadmap for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season One has been revealed.

From December 10, there will be new multiplayer maps and modes including 2v2 Gunfight. There will also be new weapons, a new Zombies mode, yet-to-be-revealed Warzone content, and “much more”.

Before that, on November 24, about a week after the game’s release, there will be a new map in the form of Nuketown ‘84, thus continuing the Black Ops series’ tradition of having a Nuketown map of some sort.

In addition, the Call of Duty blog explained how Warzone will sync with the release of Black Ops Cold War and how progression will change. “Players will begin by completing Military Ranks, a traditional leveling journey to unlock functional gameplay items. Once completed, Black Ops Cold War players will enter an updated and improved Season Leveling that begins at game launch with the Pre-Season, and which becomes synchronized with all three games at the beginning of Season One on December 10th,” it said.

Progress will be shared among Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and Warzone when Season One launches in December, and players’ rank will be rest as well. However, their unlocks will remain available. In addition, both “Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weaponry will be shared with Warzone”.

Black Ops Cold War will release on November 13. Pre-loading is currently available for those who pre-ordered on PlayStation and Xbox.
