With Halloween season still fresh in our minds, the Epic Games Store is giving away two horror-themed games for free in line with the occasion.
This week’s free games are 2019’s Blair Witch and Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered. The former is described as a story-driven psychological horror game inspired by the “cinematic lore of Blair Witch”. Set in 1996, the game follows a former police officer who joins a search for a missing boy in the Black Hills Forest, which is haunted by the mysterious Blair Witch.
Meanwhile, the latter is a remaster of a 2009 title that lets you experience a campaign with the original Ghostbusters gang, complete with the voices and looks of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson. Unfortunately, the remaster lacks the co-op multiplayer that the original had, so you can’t take on ghosts with your friends.
Both games are free to grab until November 6 at 12am, which is when Epic will swap out them out for the strategy game Wargame: Red Dragon.
