'Go big or go home' seems to be the concept behind the new HONOR 9A smartphone. Boasting a BESAR GILA 5,000mAh capacity battery, the HONOR 9A defies expectations by maintaining a slim 9.04mm exterior that weighs a mere 185g.
Users will enjoy up to 33 hours of 4G calls, 35 hours of video playback, or 37 hours of FM playback on a single charge, which means you can leave that chonky power bank at home.
Apart from a big battery, the HONOR 9A also features a triple-camera array on the back, consisting of a 13MP main lens, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth assistant. On the front you'll find an 8MP dewdrop front camera nestled within the 6.3" FullView Display.
Supporting it is 3GB RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 512GB. It also runs on Android 10 and comes with the HUAWEI AppGallery.
Here's the best part - with the big battery comes a small price tag of just RM549, making it extremely affordable and even viable as a second phone. It comes in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue, and will be officially available on Hihonor, as well as HONOR’s official store on Shopee and Lazada beginning 26 June, 12 PM. To sweeten the deal, online and pre-order purchases will receive free gifts worth up to RM218 in the form of an HONOR backpack, water bottle, and 15GB on HUAWEI Cloud.
For those who are skeptical about online shopping, you can also secure it via pre-order from HONOR’s selected partner stores beginning 26 June to 5 July 2020. The HONOR 9A will be available to purchase in-store beginning 6 July at HONOR Experience Stores
