Bethesda's Starfield Has Gone Gold and Preloads Starts Tomorrow

Bethesda Game Studios has officially announced that the upcoming action role-playing game <Starfield> has gone gold, Xbox players will be able to preload the game starting tomorrow, August 17 on Xbox Series X|S. Windows PC players will have to wait until August 30 on Steam.

Bethesda's decision to cancel the PlayStation 5 version of Starfield following Microsoft's acquisition has enabled the development team to concentrate their efforts on a smaller number of platforms. Bethesda's Pete Hines explained that supporting additional platforms would have led to delays in the release and higher expenses.

<Starfield> will release for Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Microsoft) on September 6, 2023.
