ASUS Republic of Gamers Announces Azoth 96 HE!

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled the ROG Azoth 96 HE, the newest entry in its premium gaming keyboard lineup. This model introduces major upgrades, including ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches, a compact 96% layout, and an ultra-fast 8000Hz polling rate. It also sports a 1.47-inch full-color touchscreen and a three-way control knob for easy on-device customization.

Designed for both enthusiasts and competitive gamers, the Azoth 96 HE replaces traditional mechanical switches with hot-swappable ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches, allowing users to fine-tune actuation points between 0.1–3.5mm with 0.01mm precision. Powered by the ROG Hall sensor, it delivers smoother input, improved durability, and Rapid Trigger performance for faster response times. Each keyboard is factory-calibrated for precise key travel and optimal consistency, ensuring every keystroke feels accurate and refined.

Tri-mode connectivity

The Azoth 96 HE can be connected to up to five devices simultaneously via ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless technology, wired USB, and Bluetooth®. The keyboard also offers true 8000Hz polling rate in both ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless and wired modes, without the need for a booster accessory.

Full-color OLED touchscreen

The 1.47-inch full-color touchscreen of the Azoth 96 HE displays vital keyboard and system information, and is identical to the one found in the flagship Azoth Extreme. The keyboard includes a three-way knob to cycle through various settings, as well as on-board adjustment of actuation point and trigger sensitivity.

Gasket mount and 6-layer dampening

The Azoth 96 HE ensures a cushioned typing feel with its four PORON® layers, IXPE pad and silicone pad — all of which help absorb vibrations and switch-pinging noises. The gasket softness can be adjusted by swapping out underlying dampening layers.

Refined design

The metal finish of the top cover of the Azoth 96 HE provides a premium look. Gamers can further customize the keyboard with the unique translucent keycaps with ROG markings.

ASUS ROG Azoth 96 HE is expected to be available in January 2026 in Malaysia.
