ASUS Launches New Motherboards, PSUs, Monitors, and Others

During its Break All Limits event, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) a new generation of Intel-based motherboards, power supplies, monitors, and more.


ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme

The ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme motherboard features DDR5 RAM support, 24+1 teamed power stages ready for up to 105 amps, MicroFine alloy chokes, and premium-grade capacitors cooled by a big cold-forged heatsink. It comes bundled with ASUS-exclusive software, including AI Overclocking, AI Cooling, and Fan Xpert 4.


In terms of connectivity, it has onboard Wi-Fi 6E, 10 Gb and 2.5 Gb Ethernet port, PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 front-panel connector with Thunderbolt 4 support as well as several USB Type-C ports on the rear I/O panel. For audio, it uses the ROG SupremeFX ALC4082 sound chip with an ESS ES9018Q2C DAC. It also comes with a brand-new USB oscilloscope - ROG True Voltician - that allows users to visualise voltages, clock speeds, and more.


ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme Glacial

The ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme Glacial is the sibling of the Extreme motherboard but takes one step further for liquid-cooling enthusiasts, with a head-turning transparent monoblock that covers the CPU socket area and three onboard M.2 slots. For RGB, it offers ROG's new AniMe Matrix LED display, a 2-inch LiveDash OLED, AuraSync, and four RGB headers.


ROG Maximus Z690 Apex

The ROG Maximus Z690 Apex comes with liquid-nitrogen cooling and extreme memory module speeds. It also features a Slow Mode switch, LN mode jumper, thermal sensor headers, and eight ProbeIt measurement points. It uses ASUS Auto-Extreme technology to deliver better overclocking stability, cooling performance, power efficiency, and product longevity, as well as larger voltage thresholds.


For connectivity, it offers two M.2 slots with backplates, two more M.2 slots on a DIMM.2 card, one PCIe 5.0 slot on the bundled ROG Hyper M.2 card, Wi-Fi 6E, 2.5 Gb Ethernet port, a Thunderbolt 4 header, USB Type-C, one RGB header, and three addressable Gen 2 RGB headers.


ROG Maximus Z690 Formula

The Moonlight White ROG Maximus Z690 Formula features the CrossChill EK III heatsink with built-in liquid cooling outlets and inlets to chill the VRMs. It has teamed 20+1 power stages rated for up to 105 amps. For audio, it uses the SupremeFX ALC4082 sound chip with an ESS ES9018Q2C DAC and two-way AI noise cancellation.


It is equipped with three onboard M.2 slots, two more M.2 slots via the bundled ROG Hyper M.2 card, onboard Wi-Fi 6E, 10 Gb Ethernet port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 front-panel connector, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports on the rear I/O panel, as well as full support for PCIe 5.0 video cards and DDR5 memory modules.


ROG Maximus Z690 Hero

The ROG Maximus Z690 Hero motherboard offers 20+1 teamed power stages rated for up to 90 amps, along with new Polymo lighting on its I/O cover. The motherboard includes onboard Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5 Gb Ethernet, three onboard M.2 slots with two more available via the bundled ROG Hyper M.2 card. For audio, it uses an ESS 9018Q2C DAC.


ROG Strix Z690-E Gaming WiFi

The ROG Strix Z690-E Gaming WiFi has 18+1 teamed power stages, 8+8 ProCool II power connectors, alloy chokes, and rugged capacitors. It uses two aluminum heatsinks covering the rear I/O and VRMs, connected by an L-shaped heatpipe for cooling. It features a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, two additional PCIe 4.0 drives with the bundled ROG Hyper M.2 card, Wi-Fi 6E, Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet, HDMI 2.1, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port.


Other notable features include AI Overclocking, AI Cooling, AI Networking, two way AI noise cancellation, Savitech SV3H712 DAC, DTS Sound Unbound, and Sonic Studio III.


ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming WiFi

With 16+1 teamed power stages and PCIe 4.0 storage options, the ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming WiFi comes with onboard Wi-Fi 6E, Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet, and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C ports, as well as Savitech SV3H712 DAC and two-way AI noise cancellation.


ROG Strix Z690-G Gaming WiFi

The ROG Strix Z690-G Gaming WiFi features 14+1 DrMos teamed power stages, heatsinks on the I/O cover, VRMs, and M.2 slots. Connectivity-wise, it includes HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C ports.


ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WiFi D4

Also built with the Moonlight White aesthtic, the ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WiFi D4 has 16+1 DrMOS power stages rated for up to 80 amps, 8+8 ProCool II power connectors, nad premium alloy chokes. For connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi6, Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C, and four M.2 slots. It uses DDR4 RAM modules exclusively, giving more DIY options to ROG fans. To maximise memory performance, it retains the ROG-exclusive OptiMem III design.


ROG Strix Z690-I Gaming WiFi

The ROG Strix Z690-I Gaming WiFi motherboard features DDR5 RAM slots, 10+1 power stages, ProCool II power connectors, alloy chokes, and rugged capacitors. For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 6E, Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet, two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, five USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and four SATA ports.


ROG Thor 1600W Titanium and Thor 850W, 1000W, 1200W, Platinum II PSUs

The ROG Thor PSUs are designed to run without fans at up to 50% load with a new 135 mm fan with the latest axial-tech design to circulate air through highly-swept blades, a compact fan hub, and an outer barrier ring. The Thor series is able to produce noise less than 15 dBA with the Lambda A++ certification. They also come with a new 12-pin high-capacity auxiliary PCIe 5.0 connector.


ROG Strix XG309CM Gaming Monitor

The 29.5" ROG Strix XG309CM features a 2560 x 1080 resolution, a 1 ms GTG responsie timep, and up to 200 Hz refresh rate. It has an integrated KVM switch for keyboards and mice to control two separate PCs that are plugged into the monitor.


ROG Strix XG276Q Gaming Monitor

Coming in Space Grey, the ROG Strix XG276Q features a 27" IPS panel with a 156 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms GTG response time, and supports DisplayHDR 400. Additionally, it also comes in 24.5" and 23.8" sizes.


ROG Delta S Animate Gaming Headset

The ROG Delta S now has customisable AniMe Matrix display on the outside of each ear cup, featuring mini LEDs that can be programmed. It uses the ESS 9281 Quad DAC and 50 mm ASUS Essence drivers for an impeccable sonic experience. The headset replaces the 3.5 mm audio jhack with USb-C and USB-A connectors for compatibility with PCs, Macs, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.


ROG Ryujin, ROG Strix, and TUF Gaming AIO Coolers

The new AIO coolers are compatible with all Z690 motherboards for the u12th Gen Intel Core processors and will ship with an LGA 1700 mounting kit. The eligible AIO coolers are the ROG Ryujin II 360, ROG Ryujin II 240, ROG Strix LC II 360, ROG Strix LC II 360 ARGB, ROG Strix LC II 280 ARGB, ROG Strix LC II 240, ROG Strix LC II 240 ARGB, ROG Strix LC II 120 ARGB, TUF Gaming LC 240 ARGB and the TUF Gaming LC 120 ARGB.
