ASUS Announces October Availability of ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX!

ASUS has announced that the ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX — the world’s first 8K HDR mini LED professional monitor — will be available by October 2025. Designed for content creators, it features 4032-zone local dimming, 1200 nits peak and 1000 nits sustained brightness, along with factory-calibrated Delta E<1 color accuracy.

The monitor includes a built-in motorized colorimeter, ASUS Auto Calibration and Self-Calibration tools, and supports ProArt Calibration, Calman, and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS software for consistent professional-grade color performance. Dual Thunderbolt 4 ports and versatile connectivity options further streamline creative workflows.

Exquisite 8K visuals

The ASUS ProArt PA32KCX features an 8K HDR (7680 x 4320) panel with an impressive 275 pixels per inch, delivering over 300% more screen space than a typical 32-inch 4K display. Its ultra-high pixel density ensures sharper text, superior clarity, and precise detail—perfect for creative professionals.

Equipped with advanced mini LED technology, the monitor’s refined light profile minimizes halos and visual artifacts for cleaner visuals. Multiple independent backlight control ICs maintain consistent brightness and reduce flicker during transitions, supporting peak brightness up to 1200 nits and 1000 nits sustained, ensuring deep contrast and exceptional HDR performance.

True-to-life colors

PA32KCX exceeds industry color reproduction standards with its 95% Adobe^® RGB, 97% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709 color gamut, making it ideal for video editing and post-production. Its true 10-bit IPS panel is able to showcase more than 1.07 billion colors to give content creators a vast color spectrum to work with. 

Each ProArt display is factory pre-calibrated using a new three-scale process to guarantee industry-leading color fidelity. The display then undergoes stringent testing using ASUS advanced grayscale tracking technology to ensure smoother color gradations, better uniformity and high color accuracy with a Delta E<1 color difference value. 

Intuitive, flexible calibration options   

The ASUS ProArt PA32KCX ensures long-term color accuracy with a built-in motorized flip colorimeter that automatically deploys for calibration. This self-contained tool works across all operating systems without extra software and can be activated manually or scheduled via the OSD menu.

Its integrated ASUS ProArt Calibration technology stores color profiles directly on the monitor’s internal chip, allowing consistent color accuracy across different devices and systems. Users can also schedule regular recalibrations for ongoing precision.

Additionally, the ProArt Color Center software enables centralized, remote calibration and color management for multiple monitors, ensuring consistent performance in professional setups. The built-in colorimeter is also compatible with Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS for advanced, professional-grade calibration workflows.

Create in ultra-vivid HDR

ASUS Smart HDR technology enables PA32KCX to support multiple HDR formats, including Dolby Vision^®, HLG, and HDR10. Dolby Vision transforms the viewing experience with unmatched levels of brightness, contrast, and colors. HLG allows users to view and create material for broadcast and satellite TV platforms such as BBC iPlayer, Japan NHK TV, and DirecTV. HDR10 support ensures compatibility with existing streaming video services and a growing list of HDR-enabled games. 

Streamlined, efficient workflows

The ASUS ProArt PA32KCX is designed for seamless usability and connectivity. It includes an ambient light sensor that adjusts brightness based on surrounding lighting and a proximity sensor that dims the screen when the user steps away.

For connectivity, it offers dual Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, DisplayPort™ 2.1, and two HDMI® 2.1 ports for broad compatibility. One Thunderbolt 4 port delivers up to 96W Power Delivery for charging, while the other supports daisy-chaining multiple displays without needing an external hub.

The monitor also includes a built-in auto KVM switch, allowing easy control of two connected systems using one keyboard and mouse.

With Picture-by-Picture (PbP) and Picture-in-Picture (PiP) modes, users can view content from multiple sources at once. PbP supports up to four simultaneous inputs with customizable color spaces, while PiP displays a secondary input in a movable window—ideal for multitasking and creative workflows.

User-friendly design

The ergonomic monitor stand of PA32KCX offers tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments for the perfect viewing position. The ability to pivot the screen 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise to portrait orientation comes in handy when working with posters, playbills, and other large-format projects. In addition, a quick-release feature allows users to VESA mount the monitor to a wall to save desktop space.

PA32KCX includes a wraparound hood to reduce on-screen reflections from nearby light sources, enabling users to work comfortably in any location.
