ASUS has officially announced a new 2022 lineup of its Vivobook Pro series, Vivobook S series, and Vivaobook 13 Slate OLED Artist Edition laptops at the Pinnacle of Performance event.
Vivobook Pro Series
The new Vivobook Pro series includes the 16" Vivobook Pro 16X OLED (N7601/M7601), 15.6" Vivobook Pro 15X OLED (K6501/M6501), 14.5" Vivobook Pro 14X OLED (N7401), 16" Vivobook Pro 16 OLED (K6602), and the 15.6" Vivobook Pro 15 OLED (K6502/K6500/M6500).
The series of creator laptops feature up to the 12th Gen Intel Core i9 12900H or AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics, up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, and the ASUS IceCool pro thermal technology.
The Vivobook Pro lineup offers several display options, like the world's first 16" 3.2K 120Hz OLED display, a 15.6" 2.8K 120Hz OLED display, and a 4K 60 Hz OLED NanoEdge 600-nit display. The displays support VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 for high contrast and deep blacks, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and TUV Rheinland low blue light. Other features include a Harman Kardon tuned Dolby Atmos audio system and an FHD webcam with ASUS 3D Noise Reduction technology.
Vivobook S Series
Lightest and smallest in the Vivobook family, the S series measures from 17.9mm thin and weighs from 1.6kg. The 2022 lineup consists of the 14.5" Vivobook S 14X OLED (S5402/M5402), 16" Vivobook S 16X OLED (S5602/M5602), 14" Vivobook S 14 OLED (K3402/M3402), and the 15.6" Vivobook S 15 OLED (K3502/M3502). The S 14 and 15 models come in Indie Black, Neutral Grey, and Brave Green, while the S 14X and 16X models are available in Midnight Black, Solar Silver, and Sand Grey.
Powering this series of laptops are up to 12th Gen Intel Core 17 12700H or AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, Intel Iris Xe or AMD Radeon graphics, upgradable 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. The S series comes with an OLED NanoEdge display with up to 4K resolution and 0.2ms response time, as well as 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 support. The S series also has a 180° hinge that allows you to open it flat.
Vivobook 13 Slate OLED Artist Editions
The new Vivobook 13 Slate OLED Artist Edition laptops include two limited 2-in-1 laptops: Vivobook 13 Slate OLED Philip Colbert Edition and Vivobook 13 Slate OLED Steven Harrington Edition.
The Artists Editions come with themed hardware, exclusive accessories and packaging, all designed in collaboration with the respective artists, including a cover stand, smart cover, sleeve, stylus holder, an optional artist-designed ASUS Marshmallow mouse, and more.
Based on the world's first 13.3" Windows detachable OLED laptop, the Artist Editions feature an OLED touchscreen, a smart cover stand with a 170° hinge, an Intel processor, and the ASUS Pen 2.0.
