ASUS and Bandai Team Up to Create Gundam-Themed Routers

Yeap. If you thought your RGB disco party routers were nerdy enough, you were clearly wrong.

ASUS and Bandai have teamed up to create the device of an otaku's wet dreams: Gundam-themed Wi-Fi routers.

Here they are in their full nerdy glory:

On the left is the ASUS RT-AX86U, which is based on the MS-06S Zaku-II, while the one on the right is the ASUS RT-AX82U, which sports a red-white-blue colourway inspired by the RX-78-2 Gundam.

Both of them support Wi-Fi 6, while the RT-AX86U comes with the added bonus of RGB LEDs that can be customised via ASUS' Aura Sync.

RGB AND a custom Gundam skin? But it, and you'll be king (or queen) of the otakus in no time.

The RT-AX82U will retail at RMB1,299 (RM~790), while the RT0AX86U will retail at RMB1,999 (~RM1,215). As for availability, it will be launch in China first; no local pricing or availability has been made known yet.
