AoV International Championship 2020 Had Over 100 Million Cumulative Views

The recently-concluded Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) 2020 saw 109 million cumulative views across the event, more than double the amount of AIC 2019.


According to a press release, the overall event was also recognized by YouTube as one of 2020’s most-watched live gaming events, while the tournament’s live stream was popular in places like Vietnam, where it was the top-trending gaming-related video. The tournament’s Grand Finals on December 20, 2020 hit 631,029 peak concurrent viewers.

AIC 2020 began on November 19, 2020 and saw Taiwan’s MAD Team winning the event, with Vietnam’s Saigon Phantom and Singapore-based Team Flash in second and third place respectively. 0322 from MAD Team was named FMVP and earned US$10,000 (~RM40,115). The tournament was held completely online for the first time and was streamed on Youtube, Facebook, and Valor TV, with local commentary in English, Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese. It had a prize pool of US$500,000 (~RM2,005,750) and featured “Let Victory Make History”, written and performed by Vietnam’s Rhymastic and Gducky, as its theme soung.


This year, Arena of Valor will hold the AOV All Star tournament in Vietnam.
