Let’s be honest, most of us don’t get excited over chargers, after all they’re just tools, not toys. But after using the Anker 140W 4-Port PD 3.1 Charger for the past few weeks, I can say that this is more than just a power brick. It's like the Swiss Army knife of chargers, and once you've tried it, it's hard to go back to anything else.

Power Like No Other
First things first, the specs. This little beast pushes out a total of 140W, with support for PD 3.1, which means it’s more than capable of juicing up everything from your smartphone to your laptop all at the same time. It comes with 2 USB-C PD 3.1 ports, each supporting up to 140W, 1 USB-C which supports up to 40W, and finally 1 USB-A which supports up to 33W. If you have been using USB-C to C cables you wouldn't find any problems in transitioning to this charger but for those which USB-A to C, which is the more common cables that come with most devices, Anker has included a 1.5m USB-C to C cable for your slight convenience.

In real-world use, I plugged in a laptop, a smartphone, a tablet, and a pair of earbuds. Everything charged up smoothly, with solid speeds across the board. That said, I did notice that I couldn’t quite push the total output to the allowed maximum. According to the official figures, when all four ports are in used, you should be able to get the below breakdown, i.e. USB-C1 65W max, USB-C2 45W Max, USB-C3 12W Max and USB-A1 12W Max. As you can see, some of the ports are performing quite on par whereas some of are abit far.

It might be due to a few factors, like the devices already having sufficient battery levels , which usually results in reduced charging speed, or maybe some built-in safety features limiting the charging power while in use. It's also possible that some of the cables that I'm using wasn’t rated to support higher wattage. Either way, it still delivered fast and stable charging across all ports, which is more than enough for all-day multitaskers like me who charge everything everywhere.

A Charger With Brains (And a Face!)
What really sets this charger apart is the built-in display, and it's not just a gimmick. You get a little digital readout showing the total wattage being pushed, power usage per port, temperature with a cooling mode indicator, and total hours of operations.
For someone who likes to monitor how their devices are charging, especially when dealing with expensive gadgets, this is super handy. I personally love flipping to the port breakdown view just to make sure everything’s working efficiently.
And if you’ve got your plug installed sideways on the wall? No worries at all. Just long press the dial to rotate the display. It's little touches like this that make the experience feel premium.

Perfect Port Placement
Another thing I genuinely appreciated is how the ports are positioned underneath instead of sticking out the front. If you’re using a wall socket near your desk or nightstand, the cables naturally dangle downward, making everything clean, neat, and out of sight. No more cables awkwardly bending or pressing against furniture.

It's especially convenient when I’m working from cafes or hotel rooms. It just sits there quietly doing its job without looking like a tangled mess of tech.
Travel-Friendly, With Style
Despite the power it packs, the charger itself is surprisingly compact. It’s smaller than a typical laptop charger and even comes with foldable plug, making it easy to carry along other devices in my everyday backpack. I’ve brought it to work remotely everyday, and it’s now a permanent part of my travel tech pouch. Also the Black colour build feels solid and has a premium matte finish, unlike those average plasticky adapter.

Price, Value & Promo Deets (Don’t Miss This)
Retailing at RM349, it might raise a few eyebrows for a charger, but when you break it down, it’s actually a pretty solid deal for what you get. That display alone is something you won’t find on most other brands. And when compared to other competitors' models which costs more but doesn’t offer the same usability or display, Anker’s value becomes clear.

Also if you are keen to get it, there is currently a Special Launch Promo ongoing. From 15 April to 30 May 2025, you can get it for just RM299 at offline retailers, and Anker’s even throwing in a free USB-C to 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub worth RM59. That’s a fantastic bundle for anyone setting up a charging station anytime anywhere, especially if you're constantly working remotely.
Final Verdict: Should You Buy It?
Absolutely if you:
Regularly charge multiple devices at once
Appreciate useful features like real-time power display and temperature monitoring
Want a sleek, smart charger for travel and work
Maybe skip it if you:
Are on a tight budget and only need a basic one-port charger
For me, the Anker 140W 4-Port PD 3.1 has become my go-to, both at home and on the go. It’s not just about the speed, it’s about convenience, aesthetics, and that rare blend of tech that actually thinks. Once you try it, you'll understand why it’s more than just a wall charger. It’s a power hub that actually earns its price tag.
