Amazon Web Services (AWS) will be launching in Malaysia soon.
According to emails sent to Malaysian users and the official FAQ, AWS Malaysia will replace AWS, Inc so that it can issue invoices in Ringgit instead of US Dollars.
However, they stated that AWS Marketplace and some communications-related services will continue to be sold and invoiced by AWS, Inc.
AWS Malaysia will launch on 1 October and users are urged to ensure their tax details are up to date before the next billing.
