Acer today unveiled its new eco-conscious Chromebook in conjunction with their Acer Green Day celebration: the Acer Chromebook Vero 514.
Reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainability, the Vero 514 uses recycled materials in its production. These include 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic in the chassis, 50% PCR plastic in the keycaps, 100% ocean-bound plastics on the touchpad surface and 90% recycled paper packaging.
The Chromebook Vero 514 is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics. Its 14-inch HD anti-glare Corning Gorilla Glass display boasts an 88% screen-to-body ratio with 300 nits brightness and 100%sRGB colour range. It also has a 10-hour battery life that can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
The Acer Chromebook Vero 514 will be available in the United States in October starting at 499.99 USD (RM 2243). There is so far no word on its availability and price in Malaysia, so stay tuned for more info when it arrives.
