Acer Expands Gaming Monitor Lineup with Three New Models

Acer has expanded their Predator and Nitro gaming monitor lineups with three new models. The new monitors come in a variety of sizes, and feature TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe® certification, which means that the monitors emit less high-energy blue light than industry-standard LCDs.

Under the Predator brand, Acer has released two models - the Predator XB273U NX and the Predator XB323QK NV. The former features a 27" 1440p panel with a 275Hz overclocked refresh rate and 0.5ms response time. It also covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The latter is a 31.5" 4K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and covers 90% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut while having VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.

Both models are NVIDIA G-Sync compatible and feature Acer's Agile-Splendor IPS technology as well as Acer VisionCare 4.0, a set of technologies that help protect users’ eyes.

On the other hand, the Acer Nitro XV282K KV features a 4K IPS panel with a 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 90% DCI-P3 coverage. It boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time along with AMD FreeSync Premium technology. If you're a console gamer, you'll be glad to know that it comes with a HDMI 2.1 cable that supports 4K 120Hz gameplay with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). Additionally, it also features Acer VisionCare 3.0 as well as TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certification.

The North American prices for the Predator XB273U NX, Predator XB323QK NV, and Nitro XV282K KV monitors start at US$1,099.99 (~RM4,442), US$1,199.99 (~RM4,846), and US$899.99 (~RM3,634) respectively. Availability for Malaysia has yet to be announced.
