Acer has announced its AOpen Gaming Monitors, which are now available in Malaysia. The monitors consist of the AOpen 24MV1YP and AOpen 32HC5QR, which have a retail price of RM599 and a recommended retail price of RM839 respectively.
Both AOpen monitors offer up to a 178° wide viewing angle and BlueLightShield technology. They also have up to a 165Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync. Other shared features include Flicker-less technology, 6-axis colour adjustment, Zero Frame design, a VESA mount, and a tilt adjustable stand.
The AOpen 24MV1YP has a 23.8-inch FHD VA panel with HDR10 support and 1ms Turbo Visual Response. Meanwhile, the AOpen 32HC5QR has a 31.5-inch FHD VA panel with 1800R curvature and 5ms G-to-G response time.
Acer is offering two limited-time offers on Lazada and Shopee for the AOpens, in which limited quantities of the AOpen 24MV1YP will be offered at RM569 with a DisplayPort cable thrown in, while the AOpen 32HC5QR will be purchasable at RM759. The Lazada Flash Sale will take place throughout the whole of January 21 starting from 12 am, while the Shopee Shocking Sale will take place from 12 am to 9 am on January 22.
An additional promotion for the new monitors will see buyers receiving a free DisplayPort cable and a Acer flask for AOpen 24MV1YP purchases and a Predator mouse pad for AOpen 32HC5QR purchases. This promotion will be carried out from January 21 to January 25 at select authorized resellers and will have limited units.
