A Tournament for the Working Adult: Season 2 of 'The Corporates League' Unveiled
Finally, somewhere I can show off my Ancient II skills :')
The second installment of The Corporates League gets even bigger as organiser The Gaming Company brings forth a more refined tournament format catered to the working adult, as well as a prize pool of RM20,000. That's a lot of money to be won!
Last season's event saw teams from large-scale organisations like Air Asia, Petronas, Maxis, KPMG, and more take a gander at competitive esports.
With this season's event being sponsored by HP, a total of 60 teams will be vying across 4 different esports titles for a chunk of the RM20,000 prize pool. Titles to be competed are Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PUBG Mobile. Participants will be pitted against each other in a 11-week league, where the top 10 teams of each game title will receive a direct invite for the next season!
The league begins on 20 July, and is expected to end on 1 October. More information such as the participating teams, schedule, streaming platform, and tournament format can be found on The Corporates' official website.
Whew, not much time left to gather my squad of Ancients and hope that my manager approves my leave to prepare for this tournament!
