vivo Malaysia has collaborated with Petsmore to produce a short film called The PiCATsso to drive awareness on pet adoption. The film was shot entirely using the vivo X70 series, starring and directed by Sumo The Cat in both his directorial and acting debut. Premiered on today, the film showcases a whole new perspective of the world through the eyes of the furry filmmaker.
The vivo X70 series features the VIS 5-axis Ultra Stable Video feature, where the gimbal camera works together with the Electronic Image Stabilisation and Optical Image Stabilisation technologies. It also comes with features like real-time extreme night vision, super night video, pure night view, and pro cinematic mode. Finally, it uses ZEISS T* Coating lenses to significantly reduce ghosting and flare.
The PiCATsso marks the third featurette of an X series phone with professional filmmaking capabilities. Previously, KITA, a 2020 National Day short film directed by Ho Yuhang, was shot entirely on the X50 series. Earlier this year, vivo released The Incident, which was shot entirely on the X60 series and was directed by filmmaker Chong Keat Aun.
The vivox X70 is priced at RM2,499 while the X70 Pro is available at RM3,299. You can purchase them via the vivo Malaysia E-store or official stores on Lazada and Shopee.
