vivo Malaysia has officially expanded its flagship lineup with two new additions, the vivo X300 Ultra and vivo X300 FE, positioning both devices as the brand’s latest “ultimate concert duo” for users who prioritize photography, videography, and content creation on the go.
As part of vivo’s ongoing partnership with ZEISS, both smartphones continue the X300 Series’ strong focus on imaging, but they target two very different types of users. The X300 Ultra is clearly built for those who want professional-level mobile photography tools, while the X300 FE focuses on portability without sacrificing flagship camera features.
vivo X300 Ultra Brings DSLR-Like Features to Smartphones
The vivo X300 Ultra is positioned as the more premium option of the two, featuring vivo’s new triple ZEISS Master Prime lens system.
This includes:
85mm gimbal-grade APO telephoto camera
35mm documentary lens
14mm ultra-wide lens
On top of that, vivo is introducing dual 200MP ZEISS cameras, offering both 35mm and 85mm focal lengths for users who enjoy portrait photography, street photography, and documentary-style shooting.
Video creators are also getting major upgrades here. The X300 Ultra supports:
4K 120fps video recording
Dolby Vision recording
10-bit Log recording
Multi-focal optical image stabilisation
This means creators can shoot smoother cinematic footage directly from their smartphone without needing extra equipment.
vivo has also added several photography-focused tools including:
Refined Portrait
Flash Portrait
Street Photography 3.0
Landscape Mode 2.0
Tracking Snapshot for sports and fast-moving subjects
For users who want even more zoom flexibility, vivo is also offering an optional vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 with 200mm and 400mm focal length options.
There’s also an optional imaging grip accessory that adds physical camera controls such as:
shutter button
zoom lever
customizable buttons
This makes the X300 Ultra feel even closer to using a traditional camera.
The phone comes in:
Steppe Green
Volcano Black
and features a large 6.82-inch display.
vivo X300 FE Focuses on Compact Photography Power
For users who want something more compact, the vivo X300 FE offers a slimmer and lighter alternative.
It features a 7.99mm slim body, making it easier to carry around daily while still packing strong camera hardware.
Camera specifications include:
50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera
50MP main camera
8MP ultra-wide camera
Up to 100x hyper zoom
Users can also pair it with the optional vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 for up to 200mm equivalent focal length, which could be particularly useful for concert photography and stage shots.
vivo says the device also includes features like:
Street Photography mode
Stage Mode
ZEISS True Colour Display
The X300 FE will be available in:
Mist Purple
Glow White
Luxe Black
Pre-Order Promotions in Malaysia

Both devices are now available for pre-order in Malaysia until 22 May 2026.
Customers who pre-order the vivo X300 Ultra will receive:
RM900 cash rebate
COMAN Aluminium Photography Tripod (worth RM299)
Meanwhile, buyers of the vivo X300 FE will receive:
JBL Speaker (worth RM299)
vivo Buds Pro (worth RM199)
Both models also come with:
1+1 year extended warranty
180 days screen crack protection
Additional purchase-with-purchase deals include discounts on vivo’s telephoto extender accessories, alongside installment options of up to 24 months at selected vivo stores.
vivo is clearly doubling down on mobile imaging this year.
The vivo X300 Ultra feels like it’s targeting serious mobile photographers who want near-camera-level control, while the vivo X300 FE feels like a more practical everyday option for users who still want strong zoom performance for concerts, travel, and casual content creation.
And honestly? The telephoto extender accessory is probably one of the more interesting launches here — especially for concert-goers who are tired of blurry zoom shots from the nosebleed section.
